A video sharing platform that is free and unlimited such as YouTube is bound to have a huge viewership. Moreover, YouTube also gives people an opportunity to earn money from their uploaded videos, which has added to its popularity. There are many interesting videos on YouTube, and there are times when you want to download some of them to watch later.
Most of the videos come with the option to through which you can download them. However, they’d get downloaded in the YouTube app, and can be accessed by signing in. You’d be able to access these videos under the ‘Downloads’ section, even when the mobile is not connected to the Internet. For this, you’d have to download them directly on your device, which can be done using a dedicated app. Here are the steps to download the videos from YouTube, which can be done in two ways: Indirectly from the YouTube App and directly from the YouTube Downloader App.
1. Downloading from the YouTube App
• Search and open the video you want to download in the YouTube app.
• Tap on the video player for the share button to appear
• Choose YouTube Downloader from the share menu.
• Choose the format in which you wish to download. The recommended options are MP4 files in 1080 or 720p for videos and MP3 files for audio.
• Confirm by tapping the ‘Download here’ button.
2. Downloading Directly from the YouTube Downloader App
• Tap on the app icon of YouTube Downloader to open it.
• Search for the video by using a term in the search box and tap the search button.
• From the list of videos tap on the video you want to save, which again opens a list of options.
• Choose the format in which you wish to download. The recommended options are MP4 files in 1080 or 720p for videos and MP3 files for audio.
• Confirm by tapping the ‘Download” button.
